Weekly Update – 9

List three awesome things that happened this week.

  1. I finished the Wardrobe Challenge successfully. Boy, was it fun and difficult! Yayy!!
  2. The time change happened again but this year I did not suffer like last time with a feeling of bewilderment. Yahoo!
  3. Hubby won an award at office and we are all so happy. All that hard working through the nights paid off. Hurray!

Mention the one event or concept or person I felt strongly about.
For this week, let me talk about this fact that I already knew about but did not actively follow- having snacks for myself around. As a mommy, it is not unusual to not have enough time to eat, let alone have a proper sit-down meal. I usually cook for myself as well when I pack for hubby, but the past week saw me missing meals left and right. Something always came up- an urgent diaper change, toddler tantrum, hubby’s urgent need to go to office, a strained ligament (hubby again) – an unexpected phone call. Needless to say, I am realizing that I need to go back to having handy Mini meals around, so I always have something healthy to pop into my mouth instead of going without food at a stretch. ( once this week it was 20 hours- I know, how did that happen?)

So, I am now committed to not only stocking up but also keeping food in to-go mode. Healthy eating folks and don’t you skip any meals either!!!
